Description: This is a mainly non-technical workshop aimed at Senior Management, Developers and Stakeholders from Software Houses and Systems Integrators who own applications written in legacy technologies, that are interested in migrating their applications to current Microsoft Technologies such as SQL Server 2008 R2, .NET and SQL Azure to achieve lower costs of development and improved ROI for their clients but also to address their technology strategy to leverage the best possible commercial benefits and mitigate against betting their businesses on proprietary or legacy technologies.

Wilson Bigg


He had specialised in Business Development in IT Services and Consulting , particularly Oracle Applications, but also Microsoft and Oracle Database Technologies, for over fifteen years. This also extends to Project Management and Business Consulting. Although he had traded in most verticals, he prefers to specialise in Public Sector and Financial Services.


Wilson is keen to promote the highest levels of value and integrity of the industry, This includes contributing to the Oracle community through the UK Oracle User Group where he had been a SIG Chair for six years, most recently with the .NET on Oracle on Windows SIG.


Partnerships have greatly influenced his professional life. He believes one or two, extremely focused partnerships are essential to a profitable business life.


Wilson's ultimate goal is to develop his company, Skyline Managed Services, into a respected and successful organisation, which not only fulfils his aspirations, but to some extent, those of it’s employees, collaborators and customers as well.
